First someone would have to already know there's an issue in order to look it up.

/not signed for cheapening the value of these weapons.

/signed for fixing the clipping issues IF it means a re-design of the focus thingie. And while they're at it, they can redesign the tuning fork...uhhh, I mean "sword," too.

I would agree on that they should be cheaper just on the fact that most tormented skins are fugly. I got the gold to get the whole set but I would never blow that much on something I think looks bad. Throw in clipping issues with some of them and it makes them even more undesireable.

Clipping is clipping, it's not dumb logic moron. He said that the only documented clipping issue concerning tormented weapons was with a torm focus. So take your awesome self to a doctor and have him remove the foot from your mouth fool.

The case of clipping issues is OBVIOUS; when you have assassin armors like Vabbian and Ancient that they will clip through most items. The only documented clipping issue with a tormented weapon (on normal armor) is indeed only with the focus' irregular position.

You can't say that there are clipping issues with the tormented shields just because you have a spike fetish. Same goes with Dragon Gauntlets.

Kthxbai.

That seems fair.
With a difference of 3 years, that is.

Then the clipping issue is the fault of sins' goofy ass armour, not the torm weapons.

How about two sin armor sets that have clipping issues with shields. Ancient and vabbian. My fault, no it isn't. Top price armor and clipping issues with top priced shields is a joke. Fix one or the other, either the armor or the weapons.

Normal armor....so two sets of armor for assassins are not "normal?" You are joking right? As far as a spike fetish goes, never crossed my mind to call it a fetish. I am not aroused by spikes. If you are that's your deal. After all, you said fetish and spikes in the same sentence not me. I think it is funny as hell though you exclude two very normal assassin armor sets and call them abnormal to make yourself "right."

Come on, for the few tormented skins that are actually nice, u can get any character to the DoA, farm for a day and have a tormented weapon. Seriously, if you call that high end, your pretty deluded. The only high end things now (realistically) are emerald blades, obsidian blades, and bone dragon staffs. Even CC's and Froggies I wouldnt consider high end. To me, high end is something that even after a solid day on a decent farm you cant afford. If you can farm in armbrace in 6-8 hrs from 3-4 DwG runs, thats not high end.

Oh and about the clipping, if you wear armor that has doubles the width of ur character expect it to clip. If you didnt know the tormented focus clips, ur a dumass.

No thanx to all of this.

With assassin armor such as vabbian, you have huge blades/spikes attached to the forearms... and then you toss a shield on there and expect it not to clip? Exactly which shields DON'T clip with such armor? And why are you so asinine as to suggest that this is somehow the fault of the tormented shield?

Yes, it really is some faulty logic.

I would suggest that you're a rude troll, but given the original post in this thread that would merely indicate that you're 'on topic'.

All three items you describe as high-end are farmable. IMO, the only true high-end items are oldschool caster weapons/foci and shields with good mods.

i agree they need to fix the clipping issue that the focus has and maybe redesign the sin armors to stop them clipping with some items like shields.

I'm sorry to see that this suggestion was treated so poorly and that I had to end up cleaning it up on multiple occasions. You should all know better than that.

Since the OP feels the point here has been made, I'm going to put an end to any further degrading remarks.

Closed.
